An 11-year-old who was evacuated from Hurricane Ian with his family, according to Panama City Beach Police, died on Thursday after falling from a balcony. According to them, the event happened at roughly 1:20 pm from the Sterling Reef Resort’s 19th floor on Front Beach Road. According to police, there is no sign of wrongdoing in the occurrence.

The death of the infant is still under investigation.
