The Sheriff’s Department is now looking into a 911 call about an active shooter at EasternViewHighSchool. There was no real danger to EVHS or any of the schools in Culpeper County. Dismissals at secondary schools have started. The school buses will be running late.
On Monday afternoon, the Culpeper County Public Schools were placed on lockdown following an unsubstantiated call from an active shooter at Eastview High School.
There were no reported injuries. Les Tyler’s firearms have not been located, and there are no active shooters, claims spokesman Lt.
As of 2.34 p.m., schools will be closed. after the building was emptied by officials.
The active-shooter called Culpeper County headquarters at 1:34 p.m. On September 19th, Taylor stated.
He claimed that additional similar hoax calls were reportedly received at the same time, alerting people of active shooters nearby in an effort to get the police involved.
Around 2:40 a.m., the organization posted on social media to confirm earlier reports that the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office was well-represented at EVHS. All Culpeper schools, including Eastern View, are now closed until further notice.

Currently, Eastview High School is being vacated. Following the end of the lockdown, students will be let out. The athletic field at Eastview High School is where families gather, according to the sheriff’s office.
