Jaya Police Chief Fadil Imran Viral Video Leaked

On Friday, October 14, 2022, at the State Palace in Jakarta, hundreds of Polri officials attended a briefing by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). A video of the event went viral on social media.

The Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, is seen using a smartphone in the footage, which is the cause.

In fact, Jokowi asked Polri officials not to bring headgear, commando sticks, assistants, or cell phones to the meeting.

Fadil acknowledged using a cellphone in response to the popular video, but he insisted it wasn’t his personal phone.

Fadil clarified that he was on the phone with a member of the National Police’s personal staff. He borrowed a member of the State Secretariat’s phone because he was not allowed to bring his own.

According to earlier reports, Jokowi called hundreds of senior police officers to the Palace on Friday, October 14. Jokowi requested police officers not to bring headgear, commando sticks, assistants, or cell phones when they arrived at the Palace.
