The 36-year-old Kawana Jenkins was charged with two counts of inappropriate sexual contact by an employee or agent, five counts of an officer breaking his or her oath, two counts of reckless behavior, two counts of inhumane treatment of prisoners, and one count of obtaining/procuring/unauthorized administration of a prohibited substance to a prisoner.
A smuggled cell phone recovered in a Fulton County Prison raid was used to record the events leading up to her release and subsequent arrest. The sheriff’s office claims that Jenkins was subsequently dismissed and charged. Since December 2019, Jenkins has worked with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. A sheriff’s commando searched a heavily protected flank in late January.

Together with the firearms, 11 cell phones were seized. As investigators looked at the phones, they discovered a video of Jenkins kissing an inmate while seated on his lap.
That goes beyond a simple sentimental transaction. The inmate made a specific request. A corrections officer from Fulton County is currently out of a job and in jail after videos that seemed to show her making inappropriate contact with an inmate surfaced.
He can be heard shouting, “Give her to me, give her to me,” in the video clip. Jenkins then presented the inmate with a set of high-end Cartier eyewear.
Sheriff Pat Rabat was informed of the behavior by the investigators. Jenkins was let go after he issued an arrest warrant for her on several counts, including breaking the office oath.
