Dermatologist Dr. Sandra Siew Pin Lee Rebish, commonly known online as Dr. Pimple Popper, practices in Upland, California. She is an Indian-American woman who is well-known for her TV show Dr. Pimple Popper.

On December 20, 1970, Sandra Siew Pin Lee was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, to a Chinese mother and a Malaysian father. Her mother moved to New York City in 1969 together with her younger son; her father was a retired dermatologist. At age five, Lee’s family relocated to Southern California.

After attending medical school at the University of Los Angeles as an undergraduate, Lee received a degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine. She had a part-time job as a medical assistant in Downtown Los Angeles for an allergist. Lee worked as a medical professional in Downtown Los Angeles after earning his degree from UCLA. Lee’s dermatology residency was funded by Southern Illinois University for a number of years. She finished it and her internship at Pittsburgh’s Allegheny General Hospital. Following the completion of her residency in San Diego, Lee and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey C. Rebish, whom she wed on May 28, 2000, relocated to California. After completing her education, Lee worked as a medical assistant at Skin Physicians & Surgeons in Upland, California. In relation to her experience, she enjoys dealing with cosmetic, dermatological, and laser surgery.

The American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery all recognize Dr. Lee as a board-certified dermatologist.
