Our lives are written by us; they contain courage, love, perseverance, compassion, and joy. Love, Ana,” Ana Walshe wrote. During a New Year’s Eve visit to the couple’s home, one of their family friends, Gem Mutlu, said in an interview, “We hugged and rejoiced and we toasted, just what you do over New Year’s. A lot of people were eagerly anticipating the new year. Nothing else than ringing in the New Year and putting things on wait was apparent.
According to Brian Walshe, his wife told him she had a work emergency in Washington, DC, and had to depart for Boston’s Logan International Airport at 6 a.m. on January 1. Brian Walshe claimed that that was the final time he had seen his wife.
On January 4, 2023, he then reported her wife Ana Walshe missing. Police believe that Ana Walshe’s spouse is responsible for her disappearance. In the basement of their home, they also discovered a broken knife and blood. Brian Walshe reportedly looked up “how to dispose of a 115-pound woman’s body” online. He was also captured on camera at Rockland Home Depot purchasing cleaning goods.
On January 8, 2023, Brian was detained for deceiving the authorities throughout the investigation. He is being jailed on a $500,000 bail.
