A video of Prince George’s County (PG County) officer Francesco Marlett getting into a police cruiser while on duty with an unidentified woman has gone viral on Twitter.
The video had its debut on TikTok on Monday, September 4, and since then, it has spread to other social media platforms. It shows a police officer who is on duty having a sexual contact with an unnamed woman at a playground before walking with her to the police cruiser. The PG County police department eventually named the officer Francesco Marlett.
Francesco Marlett: who is he?
A renowned police officer with the Prince George’s County, Maryland, police force, Francesco Marlett, was recently placed on administrative leave for the third time in his career. This most recent ban came about as a result of a viral video showing him sharing a passionate kiss and embrace with an unnamed woman while on duty, then getting into the back of a car with her.
Marlett has already experienced two bans before this. He was charged with child abuse in 2016 and suspended without pay after allegedly striking his then-girlfriend’s son, then three, so brutally that he fell unconscious. The accusations against him were later withdrawn, however for what reason is unknown.
His second suspension, which was for one month, happened in May 2023. This time, he was accused of domestic abuse. Surprisingly, a month later in June, Marlett was permitted to resume his responsibilities.
The video that has drawn attention shows Marlett kissing and cuddling a woman close to a police cruiser that is parked. A bunch of children are playing across the street when this incident occurs. The policeman puts his hand on the woman’s shoulders as they finally move towards the car’s back door after pausing beside it for some time.
It’s important to note that the woman in the video is dressed provocatively as she unlocks the police cruiser’s back door. The two then get into the car, and that’s when the video ends.
Fox 5 was able to track down the person who uploaded the TikTok video. They claim that while they were at Oxon Hill’s Southlawn neighbourhood park, their relative recorded the footage.
