On Thursday, a knife attack occurred in Annecy. Children and several people were stabbed by a man. A man with a bag can be seen repeatedly attempting to stop the attackers in a video of the attack that BFMTV was allowed to view.
He had a knife in his hand and was plainly seeking for fresh victims. The first gory pictures of the suspected attacker are seen in the TF1 video up top. We observed a man attempting to restrain him while carrying a backpack, therefore we chose not to continue to show you the scene. Two men then sought to apprehend the suspect by pursuing him. The 31-year-old Syrian immigrant was then apprehended by multiple police officers and taken into custody on suspicion of stabbing several persons, especially young children.
The attack happened fifteen minutes ago at 10 a.m. Law enforcement, SAMU, and firefighters are present. The attack had just happened on the Paquier, a huge esplanade that runs alongside the lake in the heart of Annecy.
“I just saw a gathering of adults, parents, and one or two kids before the police arrived. When I got close, I observed that the young youngster was covered in blood, according to a witness who was a People biker who was present.
