Officials from Reitz Memorial High School made the announcement that a new athletic director had been hired.
According to a press release, Chad Dockery will take over as athletic director for the upcoming 2023–2024 academic year.
Parents, teachers, board members, and administrators, among other important members of the school community, thoroughly interviewed and evaluated a number of candidates before hiring Dockery, they claimed.
Dockery participated in the football, wrestling, and track teams while attending Memorial High School, where she graduated in 1995. He earned a BA in history from the University of Southern Indiana after graduating from Memorial University, and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Phoenix in 2011.
For 26 years, Dockery has trained in and worked in a variety of athletic and educational sectors.
“I look forward to continuing the pursuit of excellence through sport, science, and faith, which has a strong tradition at the Memorial,” said Dockery. I pledge to help all of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and clubs continue to succeed in both their sporting and academic endeavors.
According to officials, Dockery was an assistant football and track coach at Plainfield High School before coming to Memorial.
