Emergency services are responding to a “high-risk” incident in Crystal Brook, South Australia. Two police officers have reportedly been stabbed in an attack before midday on Tuesday.
Crystal Brook is a city in the north-central part of South Australia, 197 kilometers north of the capital, Adelaide. The 2016 city population/zip code was 1,935. [3] Crystal Brook is picturesque at the start of the Flinders Ranges. The city has several viewpoints and parks. It got its name because it was built beside the spring stream.
Crystal Brook is the second largest city in the South Flinders Ranges after Port Pirie. Shady pepper trees line the main street of Bowman Street. The area where the city is located today was created by Edward John Eyre in 1839 when he was walking through the area. He named it after the beautiful, clear water and called it “Crystal Brook.”
