Jerry Harvey (born 1961) is an American audio engineer best known for co-inventing a line of custom two-speaker in-ear monitors with Karl Cartwright in 1995. That same year he founded Ultimate Ears and in 2007 JH Audio. He has worked as a sound engineer for Van Halen, Kiss, Morrissey, the Cult, the Knack, David Lee Roth, Mötley Crüe, k.d., and many others. Long and Lincoln Park.
Jerry Harvey was born in 1961[2] and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He first came to prominence in the music industry in 1980 when the rock tour Gland Slam Superjam, starring April Wine, Judas Priest and Sammy Hagar, performed at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Harvey met David Lee Roth at a bar in 1986 and soon began mixing for Roth and then for Van Halen on tour. According to Inc.
