Actor John Beasley was born in the United States on June 26, 1943. Rudy (1993), The General’s Daughter (1999), The Sum of Fears (2002), Swagger (2004), The Purge: Anarchy (2014), and The Sinister Known for his performance in The City 2 (2015) are among the movies for which he is credited.
In order to support live theater, particularly African American shows and features, Beasley built the John Beasley Theater and Studios in Omaha, Nebraska, in the year 2002.
In Omaha, Nebraska, Beasley was born. Beasley didn’t begin acting until he was in his mid-40s. He has worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in the past. In South Omaha, he established the John Beasley Theater and Studio.
He also portrayed Reverend Charles Blackwell in The Apostles and General Lasseter in The Sum of Fears. He portrayed Jesse Hall’s father in The Mighty Ducks in 1992. He appeared in the Swagger remake from 2004 with Dwayne Johnson.
Beasley has performed in numerous television guest parts and other made-for-television films. He is best remembered for playing Irv Harper in the WB television series Everwood. His most recent appearance was in the fifth and final season of the TV-Land sitcom Soul Man, which aired in 2016. Malik Beasley, a professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers, is Beasley’s grandson.
