Bastrop – At at 9:21 this morning, the Bastrop Police Department asked the Texas Highway Patrol to look into an officer-involved gunshot that happened at 403 Smith Street, inside the municipal boundaries of Bastrop.
One victim of a shooting has been identified as dead. Minor wounds were sustained by one officer.
