Seemi Jamali, a well-known physician and former director of JPMC Karachi, has died. In 2020, she received a colon cancer diagnosis. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with her family and close friends. May she receive the top positions in Jannah.
Seemin Jamali, a Pakistani physician and former executive director of the Jinnah Graduate Medical Center who goes by the monikers “The Iron Lady,” “The Bullet Lady,” and “The Bulletproof Lady,” was nominated to the Sindh Provincial Public Service Committee (SPSC) in December 2022. recipient of the Women’s Achievement Award and the Tamgha-e- Imtiaz (2019).
In honor of her lifetime of service, the Pakistan Army bestowed the honorary title of Lieutenant Colonel on Dr. Sami Jamali in October 2022.
In Ghulamullah Din Muhammad Memon, Jamali was born. She earned her medical college diploma from Nawabshah in 1986.
In 1988, she started working with JPMorgan. She finished her master’s program in primary care management (MPHM) in Thailand in 1993. She assumed the position of Emergency Department Director at JPMC in 1995. In the United States, she finished her postdoctoral work in the specialty of emergency nursing. At the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, she is pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in public health policy and injury prevention.
