Police said a driver accused a high school teacher in #Florida of brandishing a gun during an argument on the road, leading to her arrest for fentanyl trafficking.
Shavon Pearson, a 38-year-old teacher at Seminole High School, was stopped after her frightened victim dialed 911, according to the authorities.
Following the discovery of a marijuana blunt in Pearson’s car by arriving officers, a search revealed 8 grams of fentanyl, which is double the legal threshold for a drug-trafficking charge, according to authorities.
According to WESH, the ninth-grade teacher, who has 16 years of experience in the field, has subsequently been placed on administrative leave.
Pearson allegedly stated that she had been set up, a claim that the responding police officers categorically refuted.
