Willow Shields, a star of The Hunger Games, inadvertently shared a private photo of herself with followers on Instagram. The star explained that a person who had personal images of her and had threatened that they were being posted online was blackmailing her.
Willow made the decision to post the image on her own in a last-ditch effort to catch the unidentified blackmailer. “I was blackmailed and blackmailed for taking nude photos of myself, intimate photos that shouldn’t be shared with the world,” the Spinning Out singer stated with the photo when she posted it to Instagram.
I’m going to regain control and give you the information first. They threatened to send this photo to my friends, family, and the internet in an email and attached it. More “harmless” pictures, they claimed, could be used against me.
Willow, 22, who reported the anonymous person to the FBI, said, “I will not allow anyone else to make decisions that affect my own body, I will not allow anyone to exercise power over me. Hopefully they take the investigation seriously and pursue this crime.”
“I’m sharing this because I know how many people are affected every day by nude and revenge porn leaks from hackers and criminals to destroy their bodies and minds, both of which are very vulnerable,” the actor continued. I understand and regret that it exists. This is my body, and I’ll share it with anybody I want. I’m not ashamed to be a bitch.
